Category Awards

Rules and Requirements:


1. Minimum of two entries must qualify for any award to be issued in a category.
2.  Points will begin to accumulate, as with year end awards, once a exhibitors membership is paid.
3.  The Category awards, will be given to the qualifying horse/exhibitor team, who has exhibited in a particular class category, in at least 1 more than 1/2 of the times that category class is offered. 1 judge=1show.
4. In case of a tie, the first tie breaker will be the number of classes in a division shown, followed by the number of firsts, seconds, thirds, etc.
5. Open awards are based on the horse and may have multiple handlers or riders.
6.  Youth and Amateur awards are based on 1 horse 1 handler teams.
7. All points awarded in a category will count towards that category. No matter how many classes are shown
8. Individual category requirements are listed with each category.
9. High Quality Silver Belt Buckles will be awarded for each category that has had two qualifying exhibitors.
10. A Certificate of Achievement will be awarded for each category that only had one qualifying exhibitor.
11. Points will be kept and made available within a reasonable time, after each show.
12. Category Awards will be awarded at the year end awards banquet.

NPHC Youth Versatility Horse

1.        Must show in a minimum of three (3) classes

2.        Qualifying classes are: Youth Showmanship, Youth Equitation, Youth Trail, Youth Horsemanship, Youth Reining

 

 

NPHC Youth Performance Horse

1.        Must show in a minimum of three (3) classes

2.        Qualifying classes are: Youth Halter, Youth Hunter Under Saddle, Youth Western Pleasure, Youth Western Riding

 

NPHC Youth Speed Horse

1.        Must show in all three classes

2.        Qualifying classes are: Youth Barrels, Youth Poles, Youth Stake Race

 

NPHC Novice Youth Versatility

1.        Must show in a minimum of three (3) classes

2.        Qualifying classes are: Novice Youth Showmanship, Novice Youth Equitation, Novice Youth Trail, Novice Youth Horsemanship

 

NPHC Novice Youth Performance

1.        Must show in a minimum of two (2) classes

2.        Qualifying classes are: Youth Halter, Novice Youth Hunter Under Saddle, Novice Youth Western Pleasure

 

NPHC Novice Youth Speed Horse

1.        Must show in all three (3) classes

2.        Qualifying classes are: Novice Youth Barrels, Novice Youth Poles, Novice Youth Stake Race

 

NPHC Walk/Trot High Point

1.        Must show in a minimum of five (5) classes

2.        Qualifying classes are: Youth Halter, Youth or Novice Youth Showmanship, Walk/Trot Equitation, Walk/Trot Hunter Under Saddle, Walk/Trot Trail, Walk/Trot Western Pleasure, Walk/Trot Horsemanship

 

NPHC Amateur Halter Horse

1.        Must  show in a minimum of two (2) classes

2.        Qualifying classes are: Amateur Halter, Amateur Showmanship, Color Class

 

NPHC Amateur Versatility Horse

1.        Must show in a minimum of  three (3) classes

2.        Qualifying classes are: Amateur Showmanship, Amateur Equitation, Amateur Trail , Amateur Horsemanship, Amateur Reining

 

NPHC Amateur Performance Horse

1.        Must show in a minimum of three (3) classes

2.        Qualifying classes are: Amateur Halter, Amateur Hunter Under Saddle, Amateur Western Pleasure, Amateur Western Riding

 NPHC Amateur Speed Horse

1.        Must show all three (3) classes

2.        Qualifying classes are:  Amateur Barrels, Amateur Poles, Amateur Stake Race

 

NPHC Novice Amateur High Point
